Mimic the experience of exploring a cave by making your own blanket cave at home! Use sturdy furniture (chairs, sofa, table), blankets, sheets, and pillows or cushions to assemble your cave, leaving space to crawl in and explore. Include flashlights, stuffed animals (like bears, bats, and bugs), cave-themed storybooks, and paper and crayons to create "cave art." Make it extra immersive by playing cave sounds like dripping water or squeaking bats.
