Create a reptile rock pile! Gather up rocks from your backyard or nearby, then pile them up in a quiet spot that gets plenty of morning sun. Rock piles make great places for lizards, snakes, and other reptiles to bask in the sun or hide from predators.
Materials
For this activity, all you need are stackable rocks, found in the yard or along the trail.
Safety Tip!
Always be careful when picking up rocks, as there may be creatures hiding under them. Depending on where you live, those creatures may be dangerous.
