Activity
Make your own seed balls to help grow native wildflowers and support pollinators! Mix 1 part native wildflower seeds, 3 parts potting soil, and 5 parts clay soil. Add a little water and roll the mixture into small balls, then let them dry for a day or two.
Once they’re dry, go on a walk and look for bare patches of soil in sunny areas—like the edges of gardens, fields, or the schoolyard—where your seed balls can break down and sprout into beautiful flowers!
