Activity
Bring wind chimes or a mobile outside to hang from a tree branch. Lay out some cozy blankets and allow babies to crawl, walk, or lie down under the chimes or reach up to touch the chimes. Use nature-rich vocabulary to talk about what you notice: “The breeze is moving the chimes, making a pretty sound. I hear the cardinal in the tree making a similar sound.”
