Activity
Use window-safe paint or sponges dipped in very soapy water to decorate your windows with bold patterns, shapes, or handprints. These fun designs help birds see the glass and avoid flying into it during spring and fall migration.
US Fish & Wildlife recommends leaving no more than two inches of space between each design. Talk with your child about how birds travel long distances and how we can help keep them safe.
